Game day two at the Pacific District Tournament. Day one went well with both teams winning and both of my goalies getting shutouts.

Best two goalies an Alaskan goalie coach could ask for! Let’s kick some butt at Districts girls! GO TEAM ALASKA!

Wanted to take a moment to wish my friends and former teammates the best of luck at the Sochi Olympics. Congrats on your achievements! I will be cheering for all of you aka the best play, as my Mom would say :)

Card must have helped because my girl kicked butt! Go Team Alaska!

Just a little good luck card I made for my U-19 goalie before her tournament in San Jose. Love being a coach!

We might be a relatively unpopulated state but I’m proud to call Alaska home. Happy New Year everyone!

First time on skates since having hip surgery 2 months ago. Felt great to be on the pond! Looking forward to strapping on the pads in the upcoming months.

Finally, 2pm brunch at Don Jose’s. 3pm went to work and re-did our student lounge. 5pm done with work and treated myself to a pedi. 6pm dinner with the family. 7:30pm library run for my master’s degree course. 10pm pimped my crutches. Now it’s time for the op.

I knew today was going to be crazy so I thought I’d document it. 7am dentist appointment for new crowns. 10am pre-op with my hip surgeon. 2hrs in the waiting at the hospital and they still couldn’t manage to fix my name, bday or address in the system. Oh, and apparently I’m a man now. Finally got blood drawn.
